A NDT Radiation Shielded Room is a room that persons would enter to carry out radiographic tasks. Our NDT room uses international standard steel frame, stainless steel panels lined with high quality radiation protective lead plate, combined with advanced low-temperature high-pressure bonding process. It comes with a dedicated hinge designed especially for the opening door which made of stainless steel and high-quality hardware, as well as with imported safety interlock feature. The door can be configured with either sliding or turned, motorized option is also available.
The size of the NDT room and the thickness of the protective panels are determined according to the size of the tested object and the energy of the radioactive equipment being used in the room. The size can be customized according to the requirements. Lead content >99.994% for lead powder, lead equivalent of 3.8%-4.2% for lead glass.
Protection specifications of our NDT Room are in compliance with GBZ117-2006 standards.
